只要苹果手机连上支持 CarPlay 的车载屏幕，苹果车机系统界面就会出现，手机上的地图和音乐 app 只要适配了 CarPlay 功能的都可以在车载屏幕上使用，在手机上运行，支持 Siri 语音控制，方向盘按钮控制，屏幕触控操作，汽车灯光按钮控制，可以连接记录仪进行AR导航，手机和车载屏幕互相操作控制。

Carplay

支持有线 CarPlay 的车只需要数据线插上手机就可以直接在屏幕使用。类似投屏功能。断开 USB 连接，CarPlay 也同时终止运行。

设置 CarPlay 车载

  1. 确保 Siri 已打开。

  2. 启动你的汽车，然后将 iPhone 连接到汽车.

  3. Select “Always enable” or “Enable once”.

  4. Press “MENU” button (I).

    Panel

  5. Select “Apple CarPlay”.

  6. Check that home screen of Apple CarPlay is displayed.

    CarPlay Display

  • A. Select to display the home screen of Apple CarPlay.

    Select and hold to activate Siri.

  • B. Select to start the application. User can use any iPhone application supported by Apple CarPlay.

  • C. Select to display the system screen.

General Settings

  1. Press the “SETUP” button (D), or press the “MENU” button (I), then select “Setup” to display the “Setup” screen.
  2. Select the desired items to be set. E.g.:
    • Clock

    • Language: Select to change the language.

      The language setting of Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto can only be changed on the connected device.

iPhone 必须时刻用 USB cable 连接。拔下 USB, Apple CarPlay 也会中断。

If the USB cable is disconnected, operation of Apple CarPlay will end. At this time, sound output will stop and change to the system screen.

Tips: 可以买一个无线 CarPlay 适配器，插在 USB 接口上，就可以无线连接 iPhone。

调节导航的音量只能用屏幕上的选项，旋钮只用于控制广播音量。

  • When an Apple CarPlay connection is established, speech command system (Siri/Google Assistant) and map application voice guidance volume can be changed by selecting “Voice volume” on the voice settings screen.

  • It cannot be changed by “POWER VOLUME” knob on Audio control panel.

你可以通过以下三种方法来使用 Siri 控制 CarPlay 车载，具体取决于你的汽车：

  • Talk switch on the steering wheel

    按住方向盘上的语音命令按钮，然后问 Siri 一个问题或向 Siri 发出某个操作指令。

  • Touchscreen displaying button

  • For supported vehicles only

    See the owner’s guide to learn whether your vehicle supports “Hey Siri”.

    前往“设置” > “Siri 与搜索”，并确保“用‘嘿 Siri’唤醒”处于打开状态。

💡 Tip: Instead of waiting for Siri to notice that you’ve stopped talking, you can press and continue to hold the voice command button on the steering wheel while you speak, then release it when you finish.

Speech Command System

When an Apple CarPlay connection is established, the speech command system (Siri/Google Assistant) can be used to operate the following functions:

A: Talk Switch

  • Native Toyota Command

    • Press (short press) the talk switch to start the Native Toyota speech command system.
    • To cancel speech command, press and hold the talk switch.

  • Apple CarPlay Command

    When an Apple CarPlay connection is established:

    • Press and hold (a long press) the talk switch to start Siri/Google Assistant.

      Hold at least 2 seconds until Siri/Google Assistant starts listening.

      If you release the talk switch before Siri/Google Assistant starts listening, the native Toyota speech command system will be used instead of Siri.

    • To cancel Siri/Google Assistant, press the talk switch.

    • N.B. My Corolla 2020 does NOT support “Hey Siri” command.

      ‘Hey Siri’ will initiate Siri on the screen, but it won’t receive voice commands from the car’s microphone. In short, the siri button shows up, indicating that Siri is listening, but it cannot receive your voice commands somehow.

Q: Carplay on Corolla 2020 showing a cross on microphone on the dashboard and Siri is not working. Q: The car has some built in voice command features, but this is telling you that those are disabled or not working at the moment. If you were using some sort of CarPlay function at the time which reserves the microphone, or uses the phone’s microphone instead, then this is probably normal. If not, then it could just be warning you that it tried to use the car microphone and failed for some reason.

整理你的 CarPlay 车载 App

使用 CarPlay 车载时，你车内的显示屏会显示可用的 App。要在 iPhone 上添加、移除 App 或排列 App 的顺序，请完成以下操作：

  1. 前往“设置” > “通用”，然后轻点“CarPlay 车载”。
  2. 选择你的汽车。然后轻点“自定” (customize)。
  3. 轻点“添加”按钮 No alt supplied for Image 或“删除”按钮 No alt supplied for Image，添加或移除 App。轻点并拖动一个 App 即可更改相应 App 的显示顺序。

下次将 iPhone 连接到 CarPlay 车载时，显示屏上应该会按照这一新顺序显示各个 App。显示屏上只会显示 CarPlay 车载支持的 App。
